Stell dir vor, du lebst in einer Welt, in der Fliegen ohne Motoren oder Federn möglich wäre. Im einer zukünftigen Welt ist dies durch die Entdeckung von Anti-Gravitonen Realität geworden. Auf einem Archipel, das aus vier Inseln besteht und sich weit südlich von Japan befindet, wurden die sogenannten Grash, Anti-Gravitations-Schuhe, erfunden. Durch die neu entdeckten Möglichkeiten entstand ein neuer Sport namens Flying Circus.
Der Protagonist zog sich aus aus verschiedenen Gründen, unter anderem wegen zu vieler Niederlagen, die er erlitten hatte, aus dem Sport zurück. Doch seine Leidenschaft wird wieder entfacht, als er die Austauschschülerin Asuka Kurashina trifft und ihr das Fliegen beibringt. Somit entscheidet er sich, erneut am Flying Circus teilzunehmen.
