Kurzbeschreibung

Futaba Rentaro ("Nidaime") besitzt ein Detektivbüro im Nikotamagawa Einkaufsviertel, welches er von seinem Vater geerbt hat. Eines Tages tauchen die Zwillinge Sara und Sojiu Shirogane auf, welche ihm ein Job-Angebot unterbreiten, das sein ganzes Leben verändern wird. Zwei Jahre später lebt Rentaro sorglos mit den Zwillingen zusammen, als die Ereignisse sich plötzlich überschlagen und ihn dazu zwingen, seine Situation zu überdenken.

Futakoi Alternative beginnt als fulminantes Action- und Comedyspektakel und verlagert sich im Laufe der Serie immer mehr in ein gefühlvolles Drama gespickt mit Comedyelementen.
