Le Cirque de Karakuri
Der Fünftklässler Masaru Saiga wünscht sich nichts sehnlicher, als eines Tages ein Puppenspieler zu werden. Als dann plötzlich sein Vater Sadayoshi Saiga, ein erfolgreicher Unternehmer, verstirbt, erbt Masaru ein wahres Vermögen. Doch das macht ihn gleichzeitig zur Zielscheibe von Kriminellen, die um jeden Preis an diesen Reichtum gelangen wollen, auch wenn das bedeutet, Masaru dabei zu töten! Als Masaru beinahe entführt wird, kommen ihm zwei mysteriöse Leute zur Hilfe: Narumi, ein Kung-Fu-Kämpfer mit einer seltsamen Krankheit, genannt Zonapha-Syndrom und Shirogane, eine silberhaarige Frau, die die Puppe Arurukan (Harlequin) kontrolliert. Gemeinsam geraten die drei immer tiefer in die dunklen Machenschaften und den Komplott, der gegen Masaru zur Erlangung seines Vermögens gerichtet ist, hinein.
