Yui, Sacchan und Kotoha sind die „Colors“, eine selbsternannte Organisation für Frieden und Gerechtigkeit, die es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, sich für die Einhaltung dieser Werte rund um einen Park im Ueno-Gebiet Tokios einzusetzen. So zumindest die Theorie, denn praktisch hängen die drei Grundschülerinnen die meiste Zeit in ihrem Hauptquartier, einer Holzhütte im Park, ab und die „Fälle“ auf die sie stoßen sind für sie mehr ein Mittel, um Spiel und Spaß zu haben. Nachdem ihr eigener Charakter dann auch nicht unbedingt den von ihnen verteidigten Idealen entspricht, sind sie es dann auch nicht selten selbst, die dabei den Frieden ihrer Umgebung stören.
