Yahari Ore no Seishun LoveCome wa Machigatte Iru. 3 ist die nunmehr dritte Staffel der Anime-Adaption zu Wataru Wataris gleichnamiger Light Novel und setzt die Geschichte um Hachiman »Hikki« Hikigaya, Yukino Yukinoshita und Yui Yuigahama nach den Geschehnissen aus Yahari Ore no Seishun Lovecome wa Machigatte Iru. Während das Valentinstags-Event, das als Kooperation zwischen den Soubu- und Kaihin-Sougou-Oberschulen stattfand, ein voller Erfolg war und Isshiki glücklich damit ist, ihre Schokolade an Hayato übergeben zu haben, sah Yukino sich der Kritik ihrer Schwester ausgesetzt. Mit ihrer Schwester auf Kriegsfuß, beschloss Yukino – um dieser erst einmal aus dem Weg zu gehen –, zunächst bei Yui zu übernachten. Als Yui, Yukino und Hachiman dann gemeinsam das örtliche Aquarium besuchen, stellt sich heraus, dass ihre Beziehung doch weit bröckeliger ist, als erstere es sich erhoffte und um nicht weiter eine Lüge leben zu müssen, beschließen die drei Jugendlichen, dass es an der Zeit ist, sich ihre jeweiligen Fehler einzugestehen … Keiner der drei kann behaupten, sich selbst gefunden zu haben und so setzen sie ihre Zeit im »Service Club« der Schule fort, um nicht nur anderen Schülern bei deren Problemen beizustehen, sondern auch sich selbst zu helfen.
