Die Geschichte spielt auf fünf künstlichen Inseln, auf die das Mädchen Mamori Tokonome versetzt wird. Als diese angegegriffen wurde, kam ihr die Frau Mirei Shikishima zur Hilfe und rettete sie. Doch der Feind hört nicht auf, sie anzugreifen und schon bald stecken Mirei und Mamori in der Klemme. Als alle Hoffnung verloren zu sein scheint, küsst Mirei Mamori, so dass sie sich in ein Schwert verwandelt. Durch diese Verwandlung gelingt es ihr, aus der misslichen Lage zu entkommen und den Feind in die Flucht zu schlagen.
